10 billion euros for constructing projects in Abyan province
Abyan, April 16 (Saba) - Governor of Abyan Ahmed Bin Ahmed
al-Maisari and Chairman of World Health Development Fund (WHDF) Dr.
al-Hamami al-Jandoor have signed an agreement for feasibility study
preparation to construct a number of investment projects in Abyan
province.
The Fund and international investment companies' projects will
construct health city worth 3.3 billion euros and a cement factory
worth 500 million euros.
Al-Maisari assured that the Local Council will provide all
facilitates to implement these projects to benefit investors, the
province and the national economic.
He also added that implementation of these projects will speed up
several sectors and will provide approximately 295.000 jobs
opportunities in different specializations according the primary
study of these projects.
On the other hand, al-Esi Trade Group and WHDF signed an agreement
to build a harbor in any suitable coastal area of the province with
a co-finance of approximately 2.7 billion euros.
