Some 650 citizens returned to Kyrgyzstan after Hajj in Saudi Arabia

Bishkek, Mar.13, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstanis who could not return from Saudi Arabia because of the border closures have returned, Bakhtiyar Shakirov, Deputy Director of the Consular Service Department told reporters. According to him, 654 citizens went to pilgrimage (Hajj), 651 of them returned home at night, three elderly people remained due to health conditions. "They will be returned to their homeland as a second stage," Shakirov said. Also, Health Minister Kosmosbek Cholponbayev noted these Kyrgyz citizens arrived will be on home quarantine and will be observed by doctors at their place of residence.
