Bishkek, Mar.16, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan will strengthen measures to verify citizens entering the country, Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev said during a briefing. According to him, this is due to the detection of a coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The prime minister noted Kyrgyzstan has close cooperation with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. "Thousands of people travel to each other, to relatives or in trade to Uzbekistan. There are 60 thousand of Kyrgyz labour migrants in Kazakhstan. Therefore, the risk of contagion coronavirus infection has increased. In this regard, measures for flight, road and rail traffic will be strengthened," he said, calling on the people to understand and be patient with the process.
