Kyrgyzstan’s leaders discuss situation with coronavirus in country

Bishkek, March 19, 2020 /Kabar /. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov, Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev and leaders of parliamentary factions. The press service of the president said that the current situation related to the penetration of coronavirus into the country was discussed there. The head of state noted that Kyrgyzstan, along with the international community, faced a serious test - the first cases of coronavirus were registered in the country. He emphasized that maximum measures are being taken to prevent the further spread of infection, an emergency regime has been introduced in Suzak region, two republican headquarters are actively working. “The situation is completely under control. At the meetings of the Security Council, relevant decisions were made in a timely manner, which are currently being implemented. A large army of doctors worked hard to prevent infection from entering the country. Good work has been done to ensure economic security and prevent disease,” Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted. The president called for support for around-the-clock working doctors and those who ensure the economic security of the country.
