Coronavirus update: 3 more infected in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 20, 2020 /Kabar /. Three more people infected with coronavirus were identified in Kyrgyzstan, the country’s Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbaev told Friday at a briefing in the Government House. He said that they are residents of Nookat region of Osh oblast, they also returned from Umrah. “They are now isolated and under the supervision of doctors. Their coronavirus tests came out positive. Their condition is satisfactory,” the minister said. He also noted that 2 thousand 290 beds were organized in the country. “Today, 410 people are in a 14-day observation,” Cholponbaev added. The minister asked those returning from pilgrimage not to visit public places, to isolate themselves and to observe safety rules. The first case of coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan has been registered on March 18. Three Kyrgyz citizens, who returned from Saudi Arabia from Umrah, have been tested positive.
