COVID-19. China provides humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 26, 2020 /Kabar/. China has provided humanitarian assistance to Kyrgyzstan to combat COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus in the Kyrgyz Republic said on Thursday. The assistance of the neighboring state was received yesterday, March 25 at the Torugart checkpoint by Kyrgyzstan’s Naryn Oblast Governor Emilbek Alymkulov. Deputy Governor of the Kyzyl-Suu autonomous region Wan Shin Gang handed over the aid with a wish for a speedy victory of Kyrgyz people over virus. "China has handed over 10,000 respiratory masks, 100,000 disposable masks and one thousand personal protective equipment for medical workers. In addition, 10,000 masks have been handed over to the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan," the report says. To date, a total of 44 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the republic.
