First patients recovered from COVID -19 to be discharged in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 30, 2020 / Kabar /. The first people, who recovered from COVID-19 coronavirus infection will be discharged today, March 30, at 10.00 am in Jalal-Abad, Minister of Health Kosmosbek Cholponbaev told reporters.
He said that all forces will be thrown into the fight against coronavirus. “This situation will be a test for medicine not only of ours and of the entire world. On the example of China, we can see that it is possible to defeat the virus, and we will achieve this, too,” said Cholponbaev.
To date 84 COVID-19 cases are registered in Kyrgyzstan. The most of them are in the south of the country. 39 of them are in Jalal-Abad oblast, 33 in Osh oblast, 7 in the city of Bishkek, 3 in Chui oblast, 1 in Batken oblast, and 1 case in Naryn oblast.
Currently, the number of citizens being observed in the republic is 4,886. The number of citizens subject to home quarantine is 3,338
Kyrgyzstan declared a state of emergency from March 25 till April 15, 2020 in its capital city and some regions in the south of the country to prevent the further spread of coronavirus infection.
