Ministry of Health Kyrgyzstan sends team of doctors to south of country to combat coronavirus

Bishkek, March 30, 2020 / Kabar /. The medical teams formed by the Ministry of Health left today for the south of the country for 1 month in connection with the current epidemiological situation, Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Kosmosbek Cholponbaev told. He said that among the doctors are infectious disease specialists, pulmonologists, resuscitation anesthetists. “By the example of China, we see that it is possible to defeat this virus only through joint efforts and discipline. Thank you for your dedication and professionalism. I believe that we will defeat this disease,” the minister said to doctors. To date 84 COVID-19 cases are registered in Kyrgyzstan. The most of them are in the south of the country. 39 of them are in Jalal-Abad oblast, 33 in Osh oblast, 7 in the city of Bishkek, 3 in Chui oblast, 1 in Batken oblast, and 1 case in Naryn oblast.
