NAVY NABS PHILIPPINE FISHING BOAT
Surabaya, Apr 17 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Navy has captured a Philippine-registered fishing boat in Sulawesi waters for illegal fishing.
"The F/B CNB SR Stonino was captured on Wednesday after its crew failed to produce the required documents," spokesman for the Navy's Eastern Fleet Command Lt. Col. Toni Syaiful said on Friday.
The 27.99-gross-ton vessel was found catching fish illegally by naval personnel aboard the Indonesian warship Pandrong-801 on a patrol in the waters, he said.
All of the 25 crew members of the ship were Filipinos, he said.
