Kyrgyzstan's COVID-19 cases surpasses 100, 13 new cases today

Bishkek, March 31, 2020./Kabar/.As of March 31, 13 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Kyrgyzstan, thus the total number of cases in the country is 107, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Health Ministry Kasymbek Mambetov said at a briefing at Government's House. Of these, 1 case detected in the capital city of Bishkek, 3 in Naryn Oblast, 2 in Issyk-Kul Oblast, 1 in Chui Oblast, 5 in Osh Oblast and 1 in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast. "In total, there are 107 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the republic. There are 58 women, 49 men, 15 children, including 2 under a year old and among elderly among the identified patients with positive results. Unfortunately, the number of infected children is growing among those infected. They are all in hospitals," he said. Three of these coronavirus cases have been recovered. From March 25 to April 15, a state of emergency is in force in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad, Nookat and Kara-Suu regions of Osh Oblast and in Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast. Movement for all citizens, except for those who are issued with a pass, namely internal affairs officers and medical and civil servants, is limited between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (night time). A curfew is established.
