HRH Premier’s directives to evacuate Bahraini students abroad discussed

Manama, Mar. 31 (BNA): Following the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, regarding developing a plan to evacuate Bahraini students stranded abroad to ensure their safe return home, a video conference was held today between the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, and the Education Ministry’s Undersecretary for Resources and Services, Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Jumaa. The Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary stressed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ keenness to implement the directives of HRH the Prime Minister and to continue following up on Bahraini students abroad. She also noted that the Ministry will take all necessary measures to evacuate them and ensure their safe return home, in coordination with the relevant authorities and Bahrain’s embassies and missions abroad. The Education Ministry’s Undersecretary hailed the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cultural Attaches of Bahraini embassies abroad and their constant cooperation with the Ministry of Education to achieve common interests, wishing the Foreign Ministry further success. A number of topics of common concern were also discussed during the video conference.
