Yemen, China sign memo of judicial cooperation

SANA'A, April 18 (Saba)-Yemen and China signed on Saturday a
memorandum of understanding over cooperation between the two
countries in domain of judiciary.


The memo was signed by the General Attorney Abdullah al-Ulofi and
his Chinese counterpart.

Meanwhile, the two officials held official talks over means of
enhancing judicial cooperation between the two countries.

Al-Ulofi reviewed role of the Yemeni public prosecution in combating
crimes and terror as well as corruption, saying that the prosecution
has worked hard to combat the organized crimes such as drugs and
money laundering.

For his part, the Chinese senior official voiced desire of china to
boost bilateral elations between the two countries in this regards.

He pointed out to the long historical ties between Yemen in fields
of trade, health and culture, expressing desire of china to benefit
from the Yemeni experiences in judiciary

He added that the signature of the memo would open wide horizons of
the mutual cooperation between the two countries.
