Higher Committee for Oil Marketing approves oil sales for coming June

SANA'A, April 18 (Saba)- Headed by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar,
Higher Committee for Oil Marketing approved on Saturday sales of oil
for coming June at 2.6 million barrels based on best offers
presented by 18 international companies.

The committee also approved sales of Marib oil at 2.3 million
barrels which are allocated for local needs of Aden Refinery.

Meanwhile, the committee briefed on the measures of the technical
team to study offers presented by the companies, highlighting
amendments taken by the team such as stopping the direct negotiation
over price of oil, and approving the official price based on
presented offers.

AH
