Al-Masri holds talks with UK, Spain, Czech, EU ambassadors



SANA'A, April 19 (Saba) - Minister of Interior Muthahar Rashad
al-Masri held talks on Sunday with the United Kingdom ambassador to
Sana'a Tim Torlot over security cooperation ties between the two
countries and means of boosting them, particularly in combating the
organized crimes, terrorism, sea piracy, exchanging information,
qualification and training.

The talks focused on the British technical support for improving
Yemeni coastguard capabilities.

During the meeting, the British ambassador hailed the advanced level
of the Yemeni coastguards, voicing readiness to provide technical
support to improve Yemeni coastguards.

On the other hand, al-Masri held talks with ambassadors of Spain
Marcos Vega, Czech Republic Joseph Grapith and European Union
representative Michele d'Urso.

During the meeting, with each of them separately, al-Masri discussed
with them security cooperation relations among Yemen, European Union
and European countries.

The meetings discussed future cooperation horizons in combating
terrorism, organized crimes and sea piracy.
