Chinese experts to share with Kyrgyz colleagues best practices in COVID-19 treatment

Bishkek, Apr. 21, 2020. /Kabar/.On Apr. 20, a group of medical specialists from China, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan, visited the Kyrgyz State Medical Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training named after Daniyarov. At the meeting, the doctors told about their reading of the situation in combating coronavirus infection, as well as acquainted Institute stuff with their training program, which consists of 6 directions. According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry, Chinese colleagues will share the best methods and practices in the treatment of patients, as well as provide assistance to domestic specialists in the fight against coronavirus infection. The purpose of the Chinese delegation's visit is to train medical staff in Kyrgyzstan, as well as to share experiences and methods to combat COVID-19. "During the meeting, the sides noted the need to conduct training, which will be held on the remote platforms of the Institute on Wednesday. They also discussed possible areas for future cooperation and exchange of experience between Chinese and Kyrgyz doctors to provide necessary assistance to the population in the prevention and treatment of coronavirus infection," the report says. The agreement on sending medical experts from China to Kyrgyzstan was reached on Apr. 14, 2020 during a telephone conversation between Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and China Xi Jinping. On Apr. 19, group of medics from Poland consisting of 8 people has arrived in Bishkek. Polish doctors will assist domestic medical workers in the fight against coronavirus infection in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Dzhalal-Abad.
