Kyrgyzstan notes positive dynamics in fight against COVID-19

Bishkek, Apr. 22, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, the number of people recovered from COVID-19 is increasing every day, while the number of those infected is down, Chief Sanitary Doctor, Deputy Health Minister of the republic Nurbolot Usenbayev said at a news briefing Wednesday.
According to his data, today the number of cured cases is 41.5% of the total number of cases registered.
682 people are placed under observation throughout the country. Also, the number of contacts with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 patients is 8,538 people, including close contacts (first category) - 2,377, other contacts (second category) - 6,501.
To date, number of coronavirus cases in Kyrgyzstan has reached 612, including 157 cases of medical personnel infection.
Meanwhile, 254 people have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
Seven people have died.
