Pak nuke assets are in safe hands: PM

Guwahati, Apr 19 (PTI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
Sunday said he believed Pakistan's nuclear assets were in safe
hands.

"We have been assured that their nuclear assets are in
safe hands and I do not want to disbelieve that assurance,"
Singh told reporters here when asked if Taliban could misuse
Pakistan's nuclear assets posing a threat to India.

Singh was on a day-long visit to Guwahati in the north
eastern Indian state of Assam for electioneering. PTI SB
