State Committee for Defense Affairs of receives humanitarian aid from Chinese Embassy

Bishkek, Apr. 24, 2020 / Kabar /. A handover ceremony of the humanitarian aid from the Chinese Embassy to the Kyrgyz Republic was held at the State Committee for Defense Affairs as part of the fight against the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. The humanitarian aid in the form of medical equipment - face masks, protective suits, medical glasses, gloves, non-contact thermometers in the amount of USD 10 thousand was transferred on behalf of the Chinese Embassy by Ambassador Du Dewen. In his welcoming speech, Chairman of the State Committee for Defense Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Terdikbaev emphasized the importance of the assistance provided, and also noted that it will be distributed among the military personnel directly providing the state of emergency at checkpoints. The sides noted the importance of ensuring the safety of the military personnel of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces, and also reiterated their intentions to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in preserving the life and health of Kyrgyz citizens.
