Kyrgyzstan reports 13 new COVID-19 cases. 695 in total

Bishkek, Apr. 27, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 13 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 695. The country’s Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev told Monday that two cases were imported. “One of the infected arrived from Russia’s Smolensk city. When crossing the border, he was tested and then coronavirus was confirmed. He is in the hospital. In addition, another one arrived from Novgorod of Russia also with a confirmed virus. Today one of his contacts got sick,” he said. Currently, 292 patients are in hospitals in Kyrgyzstan with coronavirus infection. Usenbaev said that 12 patients are in serious condition in hospitals, 7 of them are in intensive care. He also noted that 25 patients with a previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals per day. In total, 395 have been discharged from hospitals throughout the country . Eight have passed away.
