Kyrgyzstan reports 13 new COVID-19 cases. 708 in total

Bishkek, Apr. 28, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 13 new COVID-19 cases as of April 28 morning, bringing the total number to 708.
The country’s Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev told Tuesday that among the newly infected 2 are medical workers.
He clarified that one of them is a physician, and the second is from among the nursing staff. All of them are in Naryn Oblast.
“In total, 185 medical workers have contracted the novel coronavirus infection, which makes 30% of the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases. 31 of them have recovered and discharged from the hospital,” he said.
Currently, 284 patients are in hospitals in Kyrgyzstan with coronavirus infection.
Usenbaev said that 12 patients are in serious condition in hospitals, 6 of them are in intensive care.
He also noted that 21 patients with a previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals per day.
In total 416 have been discharged from hospitals throughout the country. Eight have passed away.
