Saudi Press: Deaths Rate with Coronavirus in Saudi Arabia is very Low

Riyadh, May 07, 2020, SPA – Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional, and international arenas. Al-Yaum and Okaz newspapers reported in their editorials that in the light of unlimited support provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, along with the continuous and accurate follow-up by HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, all preventive measures to confront Coronavirus Pandemic are in full swing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In this regard, the papers said that the Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah confirmed in his speech that the death rate with the coronavirus in Saudi Arabia is very low, as the global death rate reached 7 percent, while less than 0,7 percent in Saudi Arabia. The papers added that the increase in the infection cases during the past two weeks was a result of the expanded test being conducted by health teams in all regions of Saudi Arabia, according to the statement of the Health Minister. The papers concluded that the successful management of the coronavirus backs to the availability of an accurate and uniform treatment protocol developed by the Ministry of Health and the extensive test and active screening which tracking cases before their spreading and getting worse. --SPA
