Yemen, Iraq sign understanding memo

SANA'A, April 20 (Saba) - Yemen and Iraq signed here on Monday an understanding memo between the two countries in technical education field.

The memo included promoting the cooperation level between the two countries in the
technical education area and exchanging experiences, legislations, regulations,
studies and scientific researches in the technical education field.

It also included developing the curricula and programs of the technical education,
the styles of vocational direction and guidance and professional tests as well as
increasing the vocational trainers' competency in the technical fields.

The two sides affirmed the importance of exchanging scholarships and the technical
educational programs and holding forums, courses and technical exhibitions
periodically as well as twining the technical institutions in the two brotherly
countries.

The memo was signed here by Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training
Ibrahim Hajri and Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Abd
Thiab al-Ajeeli.
