No COVID-19 infected in Talas Oblast, says governor

Bishkek, May 14, 2020. /Kabar/. There are no COVID-19 infected patients in Talas Oblast, Governor Marat Murataliyev said a news briefing Thursday. According to him, in case of detection of COVID-19 patients, there are 4 isolators in Talas Oblast United Hospital, 61 beds have been deployed. An additional 858 beds have been prepared throughout the oblast. "As of today, 19 people are under supervision of doctors, 538 are out of observation and more than 3 thousand citizens have been released from home quarantine", he said. Governor Murataliyev also noted a total of 3 thousand 94 PCR-analyses and over 14 thousand rapid tests were taken from Talas Oblast residents, all showed negative results. "In general, the situation is under control, everything is stable for agricultural work and current life. All enterprises, which resumed their economic activity, observe the conditions of sanitary and quarantine norms," he added. Kyrgyzstan on Thursday has reported 38 more COVID-19 cases, taking the total to 1,082, including 247 cases among medical workers. 735 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals. 12 have passed away.
