Governor: Osh Oblast will continue to admit Kyrgyz citizens from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan

Bishkek, May 14, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz citizens from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will continue to be admitted to Osh Oblast, Governor Uzarbek Jylkybayev said Thursday.
He added the oblast borders on Tajikistan, there are two checkpoints - Karamyk and Bor-dobo.
"Observation conditions have been organised there. Only 10 people have been admitted through Karamyk checkpoint into the country, all of them are our citizens, they have been placed under observation. Two citizens are in hospital in Kara-Suu after being tested positive for coronavirus infection. The rest of them are under supervision, and after repeated tests will be sent home," he said.
Uzarbek Jylkybayev also noted citizens are coming from Uzbekistan.
"We took PCR-tests from them. No one has been tested positive," he concluded.
Kyrgyzstan on Thursday has reported 38 more COVID-19 cases, taking the total to 1,082, including 247 cases among medical workers.
735 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals.
12 have passed away.
