Kyrgyz speaker had phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart

Bishkek, May 28, 2020 / Kabar /. Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov held a telephone conversation with chairman of the Great National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Sentop. The press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported that during the conversation, the sides discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Turkish relations and inter-parliamentary cooperation, including through the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries. One of the central topics has also been the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection. The sides noted the importance of close cooperation in the context of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the press service said. The negotiations were initiated by the Turkish side.
