Cabinet approves oversight and marine inspection regulation draft

SANA'A, April 21 (Saba) - Cabinet approved in its Tuesday meeting a
regulation draft of oversight and marine inspection presented by
Ministry of Fisheries Wealth.

The regulation aims to achieve a real and organized oversight upon
the activities of fishing and receiving the marine organisms or ways
of used fishing means.

It also aims to enhance the role of oversight and marine inspection
to maintain the fisheries wealth, combat smuggling and ban the
illegal and unregulated fishing.

The regulation also included many legal procedures to reinforce the
controlling role of the fisheries wealth ministry.
