Ambassador hails Omani support to repatriate Bahraini citizens

Muscat, June 10 (BNA): Bahrain Ambassador to Muscat Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi thanked the Sultanate and its leadership for their constant support to repatriate return Bahraini residents who wish to return to Bahrain, as well as those coming from some other countries through Oman, amid national efforts to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Dr. Al-Kaabi hailed strong fraternal relations binding the two friendly countries peoples, commended steadily-growing ties various levels and in various fields, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HM Sultan Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Saeed of Oman. He underlined the embassy’s plan to repatriate citizens as part of national efforts to deal with the pandemic repercussions, stressing coordination with the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He praised the Omani authorities which facilitated arrangements, including the issuance of flight permits and the opening of the airport which enabled 192 Bahraini citizens to return home safely.
