Yemen, Korea hold talks on Yemen joining to WTO

SANA'A, April 22 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya
al-Mutawakel held talks on Wednesday with the Korean ambassador to
Yemen Won-ho Kwak on the latest developments on the negotiations
between the two countries to join Yemen to WTO.

Al-Mutawakel valued the cooperation voiced by South Korea during
many negotiations to accede to WTO.

He made reference the Yemeni adherence to complete the requirements
of the accession process to WTO, mentioning the necessity to join
the least developed countries economy to the international economies.

For his part, the Korean diplomat affirmed his country's readiness
to support Yemen to access the WTO, talking on the mutual
cooperation between the two countries in fields of investment, trade
and industry.

Al-Mutawakel reviewed the investment opportunities in the industrial
field, welcoming the Korean investments in different fields.
