Emirati delegation to visit Sana'a to discuss $650 millions support

SANA'A, April 23 (Saba) -A delegation from Abu Dhabi Fund for
Development is to pay an official visit to Yemen soon to hold talks
with Yemeni officials on allocating $ 650 millions to development
projects in Yemen.

The fund's delegation will discuss with Yemeni officials activating
cooperation between the two parts and discuss the agreed upon
projects to be funded by the fund, said state run 26 September
weakly newspaper.

These projects are in field of electricity, rural roads and water
and sanitation projects.United Arab Emirates has committed herself
in Landon Donors Group meeting held in 2006 to support Yemen with $
500 million.

Besides this sum, the fund agreed on further donation estimated at $
150 million to finance development projects in the country.

Abu Dhabi Fund for Development has been playing important role in
supporting Yemen's development since a long period. It supports
different service and development projects in the country.
