Yemen, WB sign agreement with $ 25 mln

SANA'A, April 23 (Saba) - Yemen and World Bank International Finance
Corporation (IFC) have signed an agreement of $25 million to
contribute in financing the rural electricity project, which targets
12 provinces.

The agreement was signed by Minister of Planning and International
Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi and chief negotiators in World
Bank Samuel Mackrage

Al-Arhabi praised the contribution of IFC to supporting and
promoting development process in Yemen, highlighting the contentious
development in the mutual cooperation between Yemen and WB.
