Mobile carrier KTF Q1 net rises over 6-fold
SEOUL, April 24 (Yonhap) -- KTF Co., South Korea's second-biggest mobile carrier, said Friday its first-quarter earnings soared more than six times from a year earlier.
Net income stood at 127.4 billion won (US$95 million) in the January-March
period, compared with 20.5 billion won a year earlier, KTF said in a regulatory
filing.
Sales, however, fell 3 percent on-year to 2 trillion won, while operating profit
more than doubled to 243 billion won, it said.
