BEREAVED FAMILIES OF FOKKER A-27-03 CRASH VICTIMS RECEIVE COMPENSATION

Bandung, Apr 24 (ANTARA) - Eighteen bereaved families of the victims of the Fokker A-27-03 which crashed at Husein Sastranegara airport in Bandung, West Java, on April 6, 2009, have received a compensation at the Air Force Special Force headquarters at Banung's Sulawiman airbase on Friday.

The compensation was personally presented by Air Force Special Force Commander Commodore Harry B to a representative of the 18 bereaved families.
Before handing over the compensation, Harry B asked the bereaved families and guests to stand in silence for a moment in respect of the crash victims of the Fokker A-27-03.
The compensation varied from Rp89 million to Rp96 million depending on the victim's status, rank and function.
