Yemeni-Jordanian joint technical committee holds first meeting in Sana'a

SANA'A, April 25 (Saba)- The Yemeni-Jordanian Joint Technical
Committee for Industrial Cooperation held Saturday its first meeting
in Sana'a.

The joint committee discussed aspects of cooperation between the two
sides in the domains of preparing policies, planning, industries
strategy and exports development, reviewing aspects of exchanging
information and technical experiences.

Both sides affirmed the importance of removing obstacles facing
exports and improving promotion of investment between the two
countries to realize the economic and investment partnerships.

During the meeting, Undersecretary of Minister of Industry and Trade
Abdul-Elaah Shiban praised the current relations between Yemen and
Jordan, expressing his desire to develop the bilateral cooperation
between the two countries.

For his part, advisor of the Jordanian Industry and Trade Ministry
affirmed the committee's keenness to strengthen industries
cooperation with Yemen, pointing out to the importance of following
up implementation of results of the meetings minutes which was held
in Amman end of last year.
