Industry Minister meets Industrial Jordanian delegation

SANA'A, April 25 (Saba) - Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya
al-Mutawakil met here on Saturday with the Jordanian side at the
Yemeni-Jordanian Technical Committee for Industrial Cooperation.

The Minister was briefed by the Jordanian delegation headed by
Ministry of Industry and Trade Advisor Abeer al-Hajj on the
committee meetings' agenda as well as the topics which will be
discussed during the meeting to promote industrial cooperation
between the two countries.

Agreements and protocols signed between the two countries through
the joint committees aim to provide the legal and regulatory
environment to increase trade and investment movement between Yemen
and Jordan, al-Mutawakil said.

The Minister also affirmed the necessity of the committee to come
out with practical plans to implement the understanding memorandum
signed between the two countries and to avail from the available
investment opportunities in the industrial sector in the two
countries.
