Daewoo Shipbuilding wins US$75 mln order from Indonesia

SEOUL, April 27 (Yonhap) -- Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Corp., the
world's No. 3 shipyard, said Monday it has clinched a US$75 million deal to
upgrade a submarine of the Indonesian Navy.

Daewoo Shipbuilding will deliver the submarine to the Indonesian Navy by 2011,
the shipbuilder said, adding that it plans to participate in the Southeast Asian
country's project to construct new submarines.
