S KALIMANTAN'S COAL EXPORTS STEADY



Banjarmasin, Apr 27 (ANTARA) - Head of the South Kalimantan Industrial and Trade Agency H. Subardjo said the coal production of the province had been steady in the last three months.

Likewise the production of other minerals like iron and steel from the province which consists of 13 regencies and cities, had also been steady in the past three months, it was reported Sunday.
The agency said the price of the province's export coal from January 2009 to March 2009 reached 0,06 US dollars per kg.
The province's coal exports in January reached 4,285,892,050 kg, in February increased to 4,490,671,171 kg, and in March reached 5,380,666,367 kg.
The export of iron and iron ore in January reached 165,200,000 kg, in February 85,616,710 kg, and in March 226,915,310 kg.
The export of coal in January reached 271,200,990 US dollars, in February 284,223,024 US dollars, and in March 338,318,155 US dollars.
The export of iron bars and ore in January reached 3.703,125 US dollars, in February 1,508,264.85 US dollar, and in March reached 4,495,215,85 US dollars.
