SUKIMI LUBE LUBRICANT OIL PRODUCER EYEING MIDDLE EAST MARKET

KOTA BAHARU (Malaysia), April 27 (Bernama) -- Sukimi Lube (M) Sdn Bhd
(Sukimi), a wholly-owned Bumiputera (son of the soil)lubricant oil producer, is
to expand the business to the Middle East in June.

Sukimi Group President and Managing Director Ahmad Sukimi Ibrahim said the
move was to meet demand from Middle East countries as there was good demand for
Made-in-Malaysia products, including lubricant oil.

"We receive encouraging demand for lubricant oil to be used for merchant
ships and tankers that anchored in Middle East countries," he told reporters in
this northeastern city.

Without disclosing the targeted volume of lubricant oil to be exported,
Ahmad Sukimi said currently Sukimi produced about 200,000 litres of the oil a
month for the domestic market and the output increased periodically.

Of the 200,000 litres, part of it are supplied to federal government
agencies to be used for their vehicles and the marine police for their offshore
patrol boats.

"By the end of this year, we aim to supply 10 per cent of the federal
government's lubricant oil requirement," he said.

Incepted in 2007, Ahmad Sukimi said his company produces 20 types of
lubricant oil and five kinds of grease.

He said the company also supplied lubricant oil and grease to more than
1,000 workshops and hundreds of distributors country-wide.

He also said Sukimi received cooperation from NAZA Group of Companies which
used Sukimi's lubricant oil as the official oil for its new brand motorcycles.

Ahmad Sukimi said the company was studying producing more high quality
lubricant oil besides improving production quality.

"With the latest encouraging developments, we believe Sukimi will be listed
on Bursa Malaysia soon," he said.

Sukimi's lubricant oil and grease prices are at least 10 per cent cheaper
than other brands, he added.
