Yemen, IFAD sign agreement to fund rural roads project

SANA'A, April 26 (Saba)-The Ministry of Planning and International and International
Fund for Agriculture Department (IFAD) signed on Sunday agreement of rural roads
project at sum of $ 3.5 million.

Under the agreement, the fund would present 3.5 million to contribute to the project
in condition the 50 percent of the sum would be as loan and the rest half as gift.

The agreement was signed by the Deputy Prime Minister For Economic Affairs and
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Kareem al-Arhabi and IFAD
representative to Yemen Fathiah Bahran.
