Yemen, ICRC discuss humanitarian support

AMRAN, April 27 (Saba)- Undersecretary of Amran governorate Saleh
Abu Oga'a discussed here on Monday with the International Committee
of the Red Cross (ICRC)'s Relief Delegate Khaled Khalaf Allah the
ICRC's humanitarian support.

The meeting dealt with the support presented by the committee to the
governorate in the health, water and relief fields during the past
period as well as its plan related to expanding its activities
including its support to the Yemen Red Crescent's branch in the
governorate.

The undersecretary praised the ICRC's contributions to promoting the
social culture in the humanitarian fields, the most important of
which is reducing the burdens of the remote areas' population .

He pointed out the necessity of adopting qualifying programs for the
Yemen Red crescent's branch in the governorate in future for
introducing its activities in the different humanitarian and social
areas.
