4th group of Bani Husheish armed gang appears in court

SANA'A, April 26 (Saba) - The 4th group of Bani Husheish armed gang,
including 14 persons, brought to Primary Specialized Penal Court on
Monday.

In the session presided over by Mohesn Alwan, the prosecution's
accusation document was read accusing the suspects off forming an
armed gang last year for carrying out collective crimes.

The court faced the suspects with the charges attributed to them.
The suspects refused the trial considering the court as illegal and
unconstitutional.

The court adjourned the prosecution to next Monday to discuss the
evidences presented by the prosecution.

The prosecutor accused the gang of drawing plans during 2008 to
kill, bomb and carry out sabotage acts as well as endangering the
homeland's security and stability.

The document clarified that the suspects have prepared the necessary
equipment of heavy and small arms, ammunitions, rockets and grenades.

Moreover, they collected funds for support and prepared means of
transport, locations and shields in Bani Husheish district at Sana'a
governorate and Sa'ada governorate as well.

The prosecution's document clarified that those acts resulted in
killing and injuring a number of security forces personnel and
innocent citizens, sabotaging and looting some military equipment.

This is the fourth group of Bani Husheish armed gang, which includes
over 130 persons, stood trail in April.

The 1st group contains 12 persons and was brought to trail on April
6th. The 2nd group of 10 persons was appeared in court on April
12th, while the 3rd group of the gang includes 10 persons was
trailed on April 26th.

The charges are the same including the formation of an armed gang to
carry out collective crimes and endangering the homeland's security
and stability.

Bani Husheish district of Sana'a governorate has witnessed in 2008
sabotage and criminal acts resulted in killing a number of the
district citizens and the army individuals by outlaw elements.
