Netherlands keeps Yemen in aid development list

SANA'A, April 28 (Saba) - Government of Netherlands has decided to
keep Yemen as one of the priority states to receive aid and
development assistance.

After a sharp debate in the Dutch parliament on the list of
countries which receive Dutch aid, the Dutch government decided to
exclude seven countries from assistance list, while Yemen remained
in.

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi
valued the decision of Dutch government in continuing its
development support to Yemen, hailing the volume of the development
assistance Yemen receives from the Netherlands.

The decision reflects the international appreciation of the
improvement in the country at areas of development, economy, policy
and human rights.
