VP to mark Democracy Day in Taiz governorate

TAIZ, April 28 (Saba) - Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi
arrived on Tuesday in Taiz governorate for to attend the mass
festival to be held on Wednesday for celebrating the Day of
Democracy.

Hadi will also hold meetings with officials in the local councils
and the executive offices in the governorate to get acquainted with
the work progress in the implementation of the service development
and economic projects in the governorate.

Earlier, the Vice President visited the National Cement Company's
factory in al-Musaimir district, Lahj governorate, where he was
briefed on the factory's production capacity, which amounts to 4,300
tons per day that covers a big part of the local needs from cement.

It is worth to mention that the $250-million factory is equipped
with German techniques and in accordance with high technical and
engineering specifications by national capitals.

Furthermore, Hadi got acquainted with the works in the road of 9 km
leading to the centre of al-Musaimir district of Lahj governorate.
