Seoul National University to open office in L.A.

SEOUL, April 29 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's Seoul National University said
Wednesday that it will open an office in downtown Los Angeles in a bid to attract
talented students there.

The office, located on Wilshire Blvd. which has a strong Korean presence, will
work to recruit promising students to the university as well as support Korean
students studying on U.S. soil, the university said. It also plans to offer
public lectures on South Korea and language courses.
