AZERBAIJAN PANKRATION FIGHTERS CLAIM TWO EUROPEAN GOLDS
Baku, April 28 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s national pankration team has brought home a clutch of six medals, including two golds from the European championship in Riga, Latvia.
Golds were claimed in 48 kg and 62 kg weight categories by Orkhan Gahramanov and Aslan Rustamov respectively.
Shaban Gurbanov weighing in at 48 kg and Elvin Jafarov at 57 kg gained silver, while Hasangara Ibishli and Natig Mammadov won bronze in 67 kg and 105 kg divisions respectively.
