FM discusses anti- pricy means with ambassadors

SANA'A, April 29 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu-Baker al-Qirbi
discussed on Wednesday with the ambassadors of US, EU, UN, Asian and
African Horn countries the role of Yemeni security bodies and coast
guards in fighting pricy phenomenon.

During the meeting, al-Qirbi briefed the diplomats on the efforts
and performances of Yemeni governments in treating the economic,
security, political and social cases.

He said that these meetings come to clarify what is really going on,
and the Yemeni government is keen to say the truth and has nothing
to hide in this regards.

He said that many local and foreign media mass show the wrong
picture on what is happening in Yemen so the Foreign Ministry is
keen to hold such as meetings with foreign ambassadors to make the
picture clear.

Al-Qirbi called to support the Yemeni coast guards to be able to
realize the peace and stability in the area, mentioning the
situation in Somalia.
