Yemen, donors to establish database on international aid to Yemen

SANA'A, April 29 (Saba) - Minister of Planning and International
Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi discussed here on Wednesday with
the donor representatives on the implementation progress regarding
the national database on international aid to Yemen.

During the meeting, the minister affirmed the importance of a
national system to document the foreign assistance in accordance
with the foreign assistance, pointing out to the government
empowerment to evaluate the performance of assistance and its impact
on the development process and alleviating poverty in Yemen.

He affirmed the importance of mechanisms for the documentation of
foreign aid to Yemen.

After the meeting, they reviewed the database system designed by the
global consulting firm in cooperation with UNDP and the Ministry of
Planning and International Cooperation.
