S. Korea to co-chair regional security meeting

SEOUL, May 1 (Yonhap) -- South Korea will co-chair a regional meeting with
Vietnam and Bangladesh on counter-terrorism and transnational crime at Asia's
largest security forum, government officials said Friday.
ARF, or the ASEAN Regional Forum, is slated to hold its seventh Inter-sessional
Meeting on Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime May 4-6 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The ARF is a key security dialogue channel for Asia and was set up by 26 Asian
countries in July 1993.
