GREEK MPs PAY RESPECT TO NATIONWIDE LEADER HEYDAR ALIYEV
Baku, May 6 (AzerTAc). Members of a Greece-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group led by MP Konstantinos Tsiaras have visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the grave of Azerbaijan`s nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev. They also placed flowers at the gravesite of outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Afterwards, the Greek MPs proceeded to the Alley of Martyrs to pay respect to Azerbaijani shahids who died for the country`s independence. Here, they put a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
