S. Korea 46th in world football rankings
SEOUL, May 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korea fell one notch in the men's May football rankings, released by FIFA on Wednesday, although the country held the same number of points as in the previous month.
The team stood in 46th place, down from 45th in April, with 641 points. Regional
rivals Australia and Japan came in 32nd and 35th, respectively.
North Korea dropped to 106th, down from 104th.
The newest ranking showed Spain, dubbed the "Invincible Armada," on top for the
11th straight month, a streak that started last July. Germany ranked second, and
the Netherlands third.
