Prince Talal chairs Open Arab University Board Meeting

Amman, May 06, SPA -- Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, the President of
AGFUND, chaired the 11th meeting for the Board of Trustees of the
Open Arab university, held here last night in the presence of Queen
Rania Al-Abdullah.


Queen Rania expressed appreciation for the efforts being exerted by
the Open Arab University as regards developing its academic programs.


The University's Board of Trustees, chaired by Prince Talal bin
Abdulaziz, includes a number of prominent academicians and
businessmen from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman,
Lebanon and Yemen.


The university, established in 2002 at the initiative of Prince
Talal bin Abdulaziz, is a non-profitable education project.


The university is headquartered in Kuwait, but it has branches in
Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain, Lebanon and Oman.
